Toddlers of 24 months and above can have Arkh.
Children: One teaspoon first thing in the morning and followed by a glass of water/milk and breakfast after 20-30 mins. Elder kids who are very active in sports and other activities can have it twice a day.
Elders: Can have One Table Spoon first thing in the morning and followed by milk/water and breakfast after 20 – 30 mins. One tablespoon before bedtime is very good for digestion.
Arkh can be consumed throughout the year. It is the best when there is change in ‘RITU’ (Weather/ Climate change).
It is best to refregerated once opened since there are no preservated
Four months. Store it cool place and always use dry spoons and avoid used spoons.
We have a variant, which is Diabetic friendly, which has very miniscule amount of Jaggery and Honey just to overcome the sourness of the Amlakai.
Arkh comes in 5 variants namely
Natural - Apart from all the ingredients used it is cooked with Raisins as a natural sweetener.
Diabetic Friendly - Very limited usage of Honey and jaggery only to overcome the sourness of the Amla and cooked with Raisins as a natural sweetener
Vegan - Apart from all the ingredients this variant is cooked in Coconut ghee and sweetened with Date Syrup
Anjeer Kesar - Apart from all the ingredients used it is cooked with Anjeer (Figs) as a natural sweetener.
Rose - Apart from all the ingredients used it is cooked with Rose petals and desi khand as a natural sweetener.
